The local Safer Neighbourhood Team have seen some successful results within the last two sets of their shifts.

Officers knocked on an address and have arrested a male who was wanted on recall to prison.

Officers also sighted a female in the Oakwood ward who was wanted for failing to appear at court for an assault on an emergency worker. She was swiftly arrested and transported to custody for the next available court date.

PC's and PCSO's have been conducting house to house and CCTV enquiries for a number of offences, as well as conducting hotspot patrols across all our wards, which has led to the development of a large number of intelligence.

PCSO's also hosted a Community Catch-Up event event at the Wicker Basket Café on Sitwell Street in Spondon where they sat and spoke to residents about what issues and concerns they raised.

Furthermore, officers assisted LPU at a road traffic collision alongside Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service on Nottingham Road. All parties were uninjured and all blockages have been cleared.
